ABOUT LAURA O'KEEFFE
I am an artist who works with a variety of processes within the media of photography, film, video, moving image, sound, installation and photobooks.

I, predominantly, work with portraiture and digital processes in my work, to explore themes such as emotion, appreciation of the everyday, social issues and social conditioning, gender, the control of the artist, composite portraiture, presentations of the self, and personal subject matter. I, often, actively use the subject matter of my work to gain a deeper understanding of the lens-based media, working methods, practices and processes which I work with in my artistic practice, and thus, working practices often become the subject of my work itself.
