ABOUT LAURA O'KEEFFE

I am an artist who works with a variety of processes within the media of photography, film, video, moving image, sound, installation and photobooks.

I, predominantly, work with portrait photography and digital processes in my work, to explore themes such as ambiguity, emotion, appreciation of the everyday, duality, domestic spaces, social issues, gender inequality, human nature, the control of the artist, the characteristics of portrait photography, and composite portrait photography, in my work. I also explore combining elements of both fine art and commercial lens-based processes in my work.
